Welcome to Season 4 of 2KCompLeague.

This post outlines the initial conference alignment, explains how promotion and relegation works, and covers playoff requirements, scheduling limits, and pot eligibility.

These conferences are NOT permanent. Team placement will change throughout the season based on wins, losses, and overall performance.

If your team is not listed or information is incorrect, contact the admin immediately so the standings can be updated.

📈 HOW PROMOTION & RELEGATION WORKS

  • Teams move UP or DOWN between conferences based on record and performance

  • Winning consistently can promote a Development team into Contenders

  • Losing consistently can relegate a Contenders team into Development

  • There is no permanent conference lock

  • Every game matters. No hiding. No camping. No ducking.

This system ensures:

  • Competitive balance

  • Earned status

  • Real consequences for wins and losses

⛔ SCHEDULING RULES (IMPORTANT)

  • Teams may play any team

  • Teams CANNOT play the same team more than 3 times during the regular season

  • After Week 1, a fixed mini-schedule may be issued to prevent ducking

🏀 PLAYOFF ELIGIBILITY

To qualify for the playoffs:

  • Minimum of 10 games played

📅 Playoffs Begin:

February 16th, 2026
—or earlier if all teams reach the matchup maximum.

💰 POT & PRIZE REMINDERS

  • Team Opt-In Pot Minimum: $300

  • Teams opting in are eligible for cash prizes

  • Individual Players may join stat leader pots for $10

  • Joining the pot makes players eligible for:

    • Season stat cash prizes

    • Individual awards

    • Special recognitions

Pot updates are posted live in Discord.

  • Performance determines placement
